Bare with me
Salaams everyone. I know I haven't really posted much. Alhamdulillah I'm fine and if you don't know from my last post but Im actually married right now. Yea thats the big secret. So Im trying to adjust to a new routine and realizing that kids are hardwork, even when they aren't home. Insha'Allah, I'll adjust within the week. Just have to get the swing of things and try to remember that the broom is in the other closet and which cabinet the dishes go in lol. God there's so much to learn. But I couldn't ask for a better life. At least Im constantly busy, which I can't complain about. Hope you all haven't missed me too much. I'll give more details later insha'Allah.

Shukran. Insha'Allah everything will work out. Umm Travis, read my other blog and you'll understand.
Salaams Sister:
I feel very sad. It's none of my business. But why don't you give yourself a break?! Please don't misunderstand me. You will always have my support. I wish I knew how to help you. I wish I lived near you so I could nurture and protect you! You need a big sister or something :)
You are a young sister. Get yourself a good education dear. Have a relationship with Allah (swt). Learn who Yasmin is.
These brothers you have been dealing with don't realize how precious you are. YOU ARE A QUEEN YASMIN! Despite what some sisters will tell you, there is always hope for a good husband. Hold out for a king Yasmin. Someone who doesn't treat Islam's institution of marriage as folly!!!
For your own sake i hope you are joking. You are treating marriage like a short fling. Get another hobby.
Salaamz Yasmin-
My beautiful sister, I don't want you to take this the wrong way and I of course, do not personally know you but I agree with Saffiyah 100%... you need time for you and although it's a great thing to want to be married to a good brother, you need to take some time for yourself and learn a little more about you- you are quite young still so take some time to breathe and truly think about what is you want and expect out of marriage... and your life.
Seems from your entry, you have your work cut out for you already, being a step Mom is not an easy job- may Allah make that easy for you.
I hope Allah (SWT) bless your union and you find peace with your mate.
Anon- no need for rude comments... this sister's choice is her own and it's between her, her husband and Allah (SWT).
Yasmin, consider me your big sister and I'll always be your sister in Islam, if you need someone to talk to, please NEVER hesitate: thebarefootempress@hotmail.com
Mabrook sister, may Allah make this journey easy for you, insha'Allah
ASA (Assalaam'Alaikum)
Insha'Allah I prray this union is better than the last.....I was a bit confused at first too, but also remember what make a marriage work and that is communication. And as a young woman do keep education oin the fore front and as you grow, learn and mature more take you husband along for the ride and that is how you two will stay close and not grow apart....and of course study your deen together....
Blessings to you and your new family....
Ma Salaama,
Malek
Anony: How childish of you.
Empress Anisa: What a beautiful comment! And said with adab and love.
Yasmin, I love you for the sake of Allah and I truly pray you get all the happiness out of life that you deserve.

Salaam everyone thank you for all the comments. They are truly appreciated. I know most of you are worried and that I may have moved to fast, but in the end we know what is best for ourselves. Maybe would of it have been beneficial to wait? Maybe but Allah SWT knows best. Ive made a lot of du'a about this, I even talked to my mother about it. Yea she was a bit concern but its my happiness that matters most and she said she'll stand by me no matter what happens. I truly believe I made the right decision for me and my well being. I think Im just the type of person who can let things go easily and move on to the next. Once I move on that's it, I dont look back and I don't wallow in the past. Im just a very quick mover. Ive been that way my whole life. And no I dont feel ofended by any of the comments. I love receiving all the advice and knowing I have support from my fellow sisters. Yea I jumped into something a bit crazy but I wouldnt have it any other way. There's already a complete change in myself from my last marriage and now. I do feel like I have grown a lot more and know what I want. Ive always knew what I wanted, I just never really found it. Alhamdulillah so far so good. Im enjoying my life.
And to anyone who doesn't like it, don't worry your little head about me. Wouldn't want you to get a headache. Anyways, thank you again everyone and ameen to your dua's. You know I'll definitely be e-mailing you if I have any questions. May Allah bless you all.
Good luck sis and May Allah bless your marriage. :D
as salaamu alaikum sis! may Allah bless your marriage, ameen! always nice to hear when a sister gets married and is happy alhamdulillah. ive recently tuned into reading your blog too and enjoy it but was confused with all the events going on. i see you have a private blog so i guess things are more understandable from that end. but its nice to see you've accepted the advices given to you becaue its so hard to come by sisters these days that dont get stank and have an attitude when someone gives them advice! all the best sis!
Assalamu 'alaykum,
I've been following your blog for a bit, but haven't been here for a while, so was so suprised to find out that you are now married, and a stepmum! Masha'Allaah, Mabruk!
I'm really happy for you, may Allaah bless your marriage, and aid you in being a great wife and stepmum, ameen.
